The KIFC collaborates with many other local, state and federal organizations to provide training opportunites around the Commonwealth. Our training is designed to meet the diverse needs of organizations statewide, and is tailored to address various industries and organizational goals, our program covers a wide range of topics including leadership development, technical skills, compliance training, and more.

No-Cost: Like all other KIFC and KOHS services training is tax-payer funded. Trainees never need to pay to attend - other than travel expenses.
Expert Instructors: Our training sessions are conducted by experienced instructors who are experts in their respective fields, providing practical insights and real-world examples to enrich learning experiences.
Flexible Delivery Options: Training sessions are available in multiple formats including in-person workshops that often travel around the state, virtual classrooms, and the occasional hybrid class (with some attendees in-person and some online). Credit and CEUs: Through our partnerships with the Department of Local Government, KY Emergency Management, and other state organizations, KIFC can often offer training credit relevent to your organization.
